Today is August. Lots of things have happened since the last post. I went to physical therapy. It cleared up my lower back pain but when they had me lay on my stomach and lift weights, I couldn't do it because there were sharp pains between my shoulder blades. Every exercise they had me do like this made me feel like there were knives sticking in my back. I finally left physical therapy. I couldn't keep up with my taking care of mom and entering into the busiest season of the business.

Went to see Dr. Tracy because the pain continues and he sent me to massage. While it seemed to help some it didn't alleviate the sharp pains between my shoulder blades. He is now recommending an injection. Was supposed to have it in June but mom died and I couldn't go and then all the kids came. Couldn't reschedule until mid september.

I can feel my shoulders begin to permantly roll in to minimize the pain. I try to roll them back but it pinches my shoulderblades together and it hurts.

I can only stay at the computer at work for a couple of hours as that sore spot begins to burn and feel like knives stabbing in my back. Several times it has been so bad that I felt incapacitated. I am hoping the injections help. I wear a lidocaine patch (had to pay for it myself) to help. Don't like to wear it because it smells and now sometimes even not wearing it I have that smell in my nostrils.

Wasn't able to go to Spain in January (physical therapy). Lost my ticket money as well as Bill's
Additionally, didn't get to enjoy the fruits of the summer labor because I couldn't go to the reunion.

At night, I need to take aspirin because the sharp, burning pain is so bad. It is not so bad in the morning.
